Dispatches from behind the glass
One list, run by the author, used for exactly four things:
- New books in the Intervention series
- New language editions and audiobooks
- Price drops and free days
- The occasional note on how a book gets carried across twelve languages
That's a few emails a year — when there is something worth sending, and not otherwise. The station does not believe in filler.
Privacy, plainly
What is stored: your email address. Nothing else — no name required, no tracking pixels on this site, no cookies.
Who processes it: Buttondown, the newsletter service, on the author's behalf. Your address is used only to send this newsletter and is never sold or shared.
Double opt-in: after you subscribe, you'll receive a confirmation email. If you don't click it, you are not subscribed and the address lapses.
Leaving: every email contains an unsubscribe link. Using it removes your address. You can also just reply and say "off the manifest, please" — a human reads the inbox.
